Laura Butler Rivera is an international actor, director, and choreographer. She has performed, offered theater workshops, and taught in Turkey, Berlin, Japan, Lithuania, Romania, Italy, US, Australia, Colombia, Cuba, and Puerto Rico. She is a member of CABORCA; a co-founder of One-Eighth Theater; and a co-founder of Cloud of Fools Theater Company. She has directed Paroxysm of Film Noir (produced by Platform Sanat in Ankara, Turkey), Dark Eyes (Produced by Cloud of Fools) and La Metamorfosis (by Elia Chuaqui, a Playwright’s Thesis at Fordham University Lincoln Center) She has choreographed for M-34 (All That Dies And Rises and Hymn To Life). She is currently Faculty at The New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts and Queens college. She holds an MFA in Acting from Columbia University, and a BA in Drama from the University of Puerto Rico.
